Unity pro survey

I’ve just received an email apparently from Unity that landed in my spam folder directly. Looking at the headers it doesn’t seem to be sent by Unity at all. Did you guys send this?
Also the questionnaire is broken on some questions with options repeating themselves on 2 rows.

Some of the questions also ask for the answers in the plural form, but use radio buttons which only allow one choice to be made.

Trojaned version of Unity.

Seems pretty legit to me,

Which claimed to be owned by guava group

Comes from this link

It’s seems to redirection ‘service’ run on unity blog (wordpress?) and counting on how many the redirection have been visited ?.

You can easily replace it with your own

The at11.com registrant on the registrar and maintainer seems mismatch with the guava group, quite suspicious or just plain outsourcing done by the guava. If this is not legit survey service that unity use then it’s possible there is exploit kit running behind it which may exploit old browser, java, flash, pdf plugins, etc.

I just filled it out. See almost no reason why someone would fake something like this.

Yeah, not as if it asked for any personal details anyway.

I just filled it in too - never occurred to me that it might NOT be legit. Looked fine to me.

Oh, it’s probably legit but phracking never had a good purpose and has evolved.

If it is legit than it is a survey for Pro users only and not one for peons. Or maybe I unsubscribed…

But most marketing email doesn’t come from the company doing the marketing or is even written by them.

There is, let’s see, Constant Contact (now isn’t that a name that would endear the average joe to any marketer), ChimpMail (or is it MailChimp?), and that conglomerate at Epsilon that got broke into last year to name just 3.

Whtat’s that suppose to mean?

Apparently someone fixed the “bugs” in the questionnaire. I just wish there where more than 3 wishes and more space to write at the end

I filled it out. I noticed a fair few typos in the actual questionnaire though. If it is a scam, it is not a scam that managed to get any of my details - so I filled it out regardless.

submitted it

All these questions, just to let you know that Ruby and no brainer 2D support would be welcome?

Oh, and soft bodies of course.

Yes, it’s legit and came from us. Yes it appears that it was sent out without a sanity check. :frowning:

This, simple use of checkboxes and radiobuttons was not observed!
At least they work in the engine itself lol.
