Unity Problems (StartUp)

Hello, I’m having trouble every time I want to start Unity up. Its takes around ten minutes to just start up, and that’s not even loading up a project! I have a 64bit Win 7 system. It used to work perfectly!

During the 3.2 upgrade I was getting a notice from Unity saying that I needed to download some Windows drivers/programs or something, it gave me a link to a Microsoft site and I done all the changes, yet Unity gave me the same error once I started it up again. I would give you the code but Unity is taking too long to start up there’s no point.

Please help me with this issue!

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Firstly, you should try upgrading to Unity 3.3, which has just been released. If this doesn’t fix the problem then please can you file a bug report for this issue (menu: Help > Report A Bug).

This thread may shed some light on the topic for you: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/77443-missing-an-imporant-service-pack-patch

I can’t even get onto Unity now to do this, it just won’t open at all, even though task manager says its running as a process?

I worked my way through this but it’s not working for my machine :frowning:
