Unity Project Gone

I saved my project and then changed the main folder name. Now everything is gone in my project tab and all that shows up is my resources folder. Is there anything I can do or should I just resort to my backup?

Well, did you try to open a project 'File->Open Project...' and select the folder where you changed? Then open the scene you want
