This bug occurs in any version that I try, so is clearly my pc´s problem, I just don´t know why, when I create a project, while is creating and opening it appears a message saying:
Enter Safe Mode?
"
The project you are opening contains compilation errors.
Entering safe mode allows you to solve these errors without waiting for the rest of your project to import.
If you select ignore (not recommended), your project will continue to import, but it may be in a broken or unusable state.
[Enter Safe Mode] [Ignore] [Quit]
"
The decision you make does not affect the result, as in safe mode you cannot do anything, once you are in the project you cannot do much. As an example in a project without this bug (impossible in my computer) you can create various objects.
But with this bug, you cannot create the majority of them.
The console message, click on that. Post if there is anything in it. Otherwise look in the editor.log for any errors or post that file here.
Also: what Unity version? What template do you create the project with?
What’s the location (path) of the project? You may be trying to create it in a path where you don’t have the appropriate permissions or run out of disk space (20+ GB free on every drive at a minimum).
I click but nothing seems to happen, right-click neither, I don´t find editor.log, I only find the uploaded files.
I used version 2022.3.13f1 for the images and demonstration, but I tested like in 5 different versions (olders and newers)
and in neither of them worked.
I created the project with the “2D” template.
The path of the project is “E:\Unity\Projects\Three Nights at Cursed Momes”
About space, I have much in the E: disk, where the project is, but I need some in the C: disk.
Thank you for trying to help.
Never let your system drive run this full! You need at least 20 gb free at all times due to dynamic swap file and TEMP folder. Try running the built in disk cleanup tool.
The editor.log location is in the manual, somewhere under AppData.
Check permissions of the folder on E:
The current user needs to have full permission.
If you get this on project creation, then do not choose "Emter safe mode ". Most of the time it’s probably a problem with a package being deprecated or out of date. The fix is easy: either remove or update the culprits.
Once done that totally uninstalled Unity and reinstalled version 2022.3.13f1, created a proyect on the 3D template, now there are new errors, the initial popup stays the same, bet there are new errors:
