unity question: check if object is inside trigger?

Hey people of the internet:

quick question for anyone that can help, heres the scenario; I have my monster, it does a check for any object that is tagged with player when it enters the trigger zone. it then stores this object as a variable and moves after it, however if this variable is cleared (due to the player leaving the agro zone) and there is still another player in the trigger zone, is there a way to change and attack the next player in the agro zone?

There is no one-shot method to find out all those objects that are in a trigger area “right now” - you need to maintain an array of all objects in the trigger zone as they enter/leave.
