im using a note 4 with usb debugging enabled. i have my editor settings set to any android device. but when i press play nothing happens on my phone.
I had the same problem. If you have installed the driver for your phone, try to:
close unity (after you set to “any android device”) → connect your phone to your computer → open Unity Remote 5 → open Unity.
It worked for me
