I’ve been trying to run my test game through Unity Remote on iPad. Although the Remote app sees my Mac in the list, when I try and run the game I get the error “No Assert String available”
I’ve been looking around for info and it seems like there is a bug in this Remote program, but what can I do until then and when will it be fixed.
Depends on:
If you are on Unity iPhone 1.x (though there is no remote for ipad), the answer would be never
If your are on Unity iOS 3, then the answer is “likely somewhen after you reported it through the proper way ie Bug Reporter tool”, in which case I would recommend to use it asap
I’ve never seen this error happen on U3 so far though
OK. I am still on Unity iPhone 1.7. I didn’t see any features I needed in the new version and heard there were some stability issues with v3. Looks like I will have to upgrade soon.
