Hi there unity support guys!
I wanna gently ask you how long will it take to be released a new 3.4 unity version or a 3.3 unity revision for the 4.3 iOS support on it?
I have installed yesterday iOS 4.3 on my iphone 3GS + iOS 4.3 SDK with xcode 3.2.6 and as I´ve already read about the warning ARMV6 problems over the ARMV7 ( choosen by Apple for the new future devices) I really wanted to know a specific realease date for the new version or revision on 3.3 to give better support for the iOS 4.3 . so I can build my game for distribution.
Currently I am still working on my game and I don´t think I am going to finish it by the next 2 months ( as I am working alone ) so I am not bothered about those warnings yet of course and I really prefer to use the new 4.3 SDK version and to use the new openfeint version so I won´t be outdated at the time I´ll be finishing my game. But it´s always good to know how long will it take to release the fix for this problem and if you guys are planning on releasing only ARMV7 builds for unity from now on.Because I really think you already know that , but…this is something that Apple chose. And I really don´t like when Apple does these things…But this is globalization , something we can´t fight with, and the future perhaps could even gift us with an ARMV8 for the 1GB devices…
( Who knows? )
But will Apple accept it?
A 3.0 SDK Build…I don´t think so my friend.
Using Gamesalad I already have released a game in the past 2 years I think ( just to test the tool ( Robber Bomber for iphone and ipad, a complete waste of time comparing to unity as I love to code ) and I have release 2 versions and on the latest one Apple rejected my app duo to the SDK version, that was not the last one released at the time. After releasing my game with unity I´ll improove My Robber Bomber and port it to unity , even better and with a different mechanic, that was really to test if I could release games alone and I really worked really hard at the time.
it is an unknown how long Unity will take to update. The best we can guess at is “as soon as they can”. Unity cannot work magic, although it sometimes appears like they can.
I’ve just done an update with iOS 4.2, Unity 3.2 and arm6 only. I’m seriously considering arm7 only for the next project. I want to avoid building for both because of file size, and it is increasingly looking like arm7 is the way to go, but at the moment it is a judgement call to make for yourself.

Yes I know they are working hard to update unity, I just asked to make my schedule more precise on the release data of my game.
And I really agree with you my developer friend! ARMV7 is the future from now on.
