Strangely for the past hour or so Unity has began to run my GPU @ 100% while I am running code and testing things out in the Game screen. Not sure what is causing this as it never did this before.
Only difference I am seeing is the FPS is shooting up to 2600fps instead of the usual 60-70 I was seeing previously. Anytime I test out a scene for more then 5 minutes my GPU and CPU are at 65c.
Not sure what’s causing it, but those temperatures aren’t anything to be worried about. My CPU rests at 50-something degrees, 61 while browsing these forums.
Ive been having this issue as well. It seemed to start when I upgraded to 4.2 and now my GPU runs at 100% when the game view is open. When I build my game and run it my GPU runs at about 70%.
Has anyone else had this issue? Im a bit concerned my GPU will go pop.
Im wondering if it has anything to do with the new Oculus Rift SDK. Its just odd as my GPU used to sit at around 50% inside a project, where as now its 100%
