When trying to select my organization in the unity services tab (in the actual game engine), my organization popped up, but it won’t let me click it. I have had this issue for many weeks and it has delayed production. I’ve submitted a bug report and unity says that the bug wasn’t replicable. I have updated my version. So far nothing has been successful.
Hi,
We’re working on changes in that UI.
For now, as a workaround, you can try connecting your organization / project for your Unity project through the Unity Hub. Let me know if that helps!
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I just found your reply. I tried this and it worked! Thank you so much.
I had a similar problem:
- I worked on a project then was invited to the organization with a “guest” status.
- I am able to link the project to the cloud project in the Hub (Unity Hub 3.18.3) but that is not enough.
- when I start using the services, I get the following issue:
UnityProjectNotLinkedException - It tells me I have to connect the project in the editor as well.
- I follow the steps: in
Edit>User Settings...>Services. - However, I cannot select the organization I am a guest of. I tried de-logging and re-logging but that did not solved this.
My solution:
- I closed the Unity editor
- I went into the project folder , then in
ProjectSettingsI opened the fileProjectSettings.asset - near the bottom of the file I changed the following fields:
cloudEnableto value1projectNameto the cloud project name (it was empty)organizationIdto the organization I am guest of. I found the id on cloud.unity, inAdministration>Settings>Organization ID(there is a button to copy)cloudProjectIdto the cloud project id which I found on cloud.unity, inProject> your project >Settings>Project ID
I am not certain all of those changes are necessary, but when I reopened the project in editor, I had the connection set up and the UnityProjectNotLinkedException was not shown again.
