Actually the plan was to get all collections in time of Christmas discount, not to leave people without money.
I am planing to add bow and crossbow too, a bit later. I will made 40% discount for every new asset for 3-5 days for now.
I tried to figure out how I can make bow and crossbow animation collections for Unity.
It seems I can’t do it. The problem here that bow and crossbow are animated props. They need to be synchronized in time and place with character animation. Maybe time it is a less problem. But place it is a real issue.
Sorry, I don’t think I can make these collections, which must work with every proper rigged character. Maybe it is possible by writing scripts and making some kind of Unity plugin. Unfortunately I am not a programmer.
That’s a bummer… But, from my point of view, it seems like you would have the same problem with gun animations. I kind of liked the ones you have on your site, if they had fingers (and included walking animations, etc), that would be good enough for me. But I guess maybe my needs aren’t the same as everyone else’s, I’m not afraid to swap out the crossbow mesh for one of my own and sync them up.
I hope gun and any other not animated weapon will work well in most cases.
Animated weapons much more problematic. People even can’t to change my very simple crossbow to one they maybe want to use. Also for many people problem will be to use my crossbow with their characters. Maybe, for some cases, to use my character will be enough, but I don’t want to release something that will suit only for making game prototype, and have so many problems.
