Trying to use Unity’s spline tool to build river. I’m having issues getting it to work right.
I’ve tried two things… adding spline container to the river prefab, and extruding. Also creating new spline path and then adding the mesh.
No matter what I do, the scale is wrong, orientation is wrong: causing material to change. Everything seems wrong.
Especially “warping” when adding verticality to the path and curve. Attached is images of how I have tried setting up.
Is it possible to lock rotation so doesn’t warp? allowing to follow curve and height but not warp the mesh?
Setup on mesh: Spline centers mesh, until I add extrusion component.
After adding extrusion: Spline moves to left of mesh
After extruding: texture scale changes, mesh warps badly.
All help appreciated.
