Unity subscription question

I currently have a Unity plus subscription which is yearly/annual and is coming to an end.

It says it will convert to monthly payment, but will this continue as monthly for foreseeable future unless I change it? As I now want it to be monthly and not yearly.

As I understand it, you will continue to be on that monthly subscription until you make a change. That said, I also believe you are subject to price changes as you are no longer under contract, so I think if they decided to increase the price for whatever reason, you would possibly have to pay that new price right away instead of being locked in at the lower rate.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been on monthly Plus since the 2017 release cycle. Unity changed their month to month pricing from $35/mo to $40/mo back in Jan 2020. But my latest charge on March 15 2021 was still at $35.

That’s good then…I bet if you canceled you would be stuck at the higher rate if you restarted though.
