Unity Technologies and Noesis Interactive Announce New Service as Academic Institutions Standardize on Unity
24/7 Unity Training Now Available for $19.95 per month

Noesis Interactive is a partner of Unity Tech’s that not only acts as a reseller but they’re creating a wide range of learning material as well. They’ve already had courseware for instructors on sale and today they’re launching a new effort targeted at developers themselves. The site, http://www.design3.net/unity, offers Unity-focused learning material that is well worth a look. If you’re interested then give the full press release a look:

Then go to design3.com and check things out for yourself (they have a free trial membership available):

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We were working out some of our security configurations. Website is up and running again. Get back on and check it out!

Any educators we have discounts, free-trails, course catered content, and instructor materials. Contact sales@noesisinteractive.com

If anyone has any problems with the site please contact our support team at support@design3.net

Hope you enjoy,

Promotion Code field? Hmm…

What a wonderful marketing tool for a new service company offer. where might a prospective customer wrangle one?

Actually promotion codes are only used for educational and corporate discounts.

However, the first couple chapters of our tutorials are available for public viewing if you wish to take a look at some of our content.

If you fall into one of those categories for a discount code contact sales@noesisinteractive.com

I remember Noesis from my Source modding days. They are a really excellent, high quality …source… for training material. When trying to wade through the scraps of information here and there - some outdated, some conflicting - Noesis had a straight forward step-through of the Character-To-Game Engine pipeline.

Does Neosis offer hands on remote tutoring or only pre-canned tutorials ?

Will Noesis implement any Paypal version in the near future?

Honestly, i am really interested in the tutorials available, but i’m not too confident to leave my credit card details on a semi-broken website

Paypal is already available. I joined 2 days ago using my PayPal account. BTW, I have just started watching the tutorials and thus far, I have to say that they are really good!

$20/month…

That’s a lot, but affordable… What kind of tuts will it have that youtube doesn’t?

Our early issues were actually due to too much security. We have since worked out the kinks and all of our payment methods (including paypal) are certified secure. I hope that the few hiccups, that accompany the launch of any website, do not deter you. If you do encounter any problems please e-mail support@design3.net

What is different about our materials as opposed to youtube is that all of our material is outcome based and track oriented. That is the lessons build on each other. Our material was professionally developed, and we are the worldwide academic providers for Unity. We even have specifically academically catered courses that can be suited for a 10-15 week term. The beginning chapters of the tutorials are available for public viewing. Feel free to get on there and check it out.

Recommend you do a sweep of the website for pricing issues. I found this one on the landing page:

“For as low as $14.99 you can have unlimited, 24/7 access to hundreds of streaming, HD quality, video-based tutorials, and interact with game developers worldwide.”

There is no $14.99 price point available… at least not that I can find

For the annual subscription of $179.95 the price breakdown would be $14.99 per month. There is also a student four-month term subscription for $59.95.

However, we acknowledge that the language is a bit confusing and it has been changed.

with the free trial do we have access to everything for a short period?
