So this has me thinking, in published form, are these two compatible?
I know unity already has web deployment but if facebook were a viable distribution platform for a unity game that could be a heck of an opportunity…

Look in Tempest’s signature block, you’ll find something tasty there. In short, yeah, you bet the two can go together and some folks are already doing it! The Unity Web Player supports bi-directional communication with in-page JavaScript and so you can definitely cook up Unity-authored Facebook apps if you wish.
