unity trial version not starting

hello all

I downloaded unity trial version more than a month ago. I started the installation wizard in the intent of installing it and then remembered in the middle of the installation that I will not be able to work on it at that time (I had alot of work), so I cancelled the wizard before pressing install.

I installed unity today tuesday Nov 14 2006 and it was successful, but when I navigated to applications/unity and double clicked the unity icon unity did not launch.
I restarted and retried, but that was of no use.

I am a new bie to mac.

I appreciate all help.

Please use Report Bug.app. This gives us some more information about your machine specs etc, so we can investigate this issue.

I double clicked Report Bug.app, but like unity it resulted in a shortcut appearing for less than a second (for a glance) in the bar at the bottom of the screen and then disappearing. none of Report Bug, Unity, or Unitron is launching.
