Unity UI not working Cardboard

Hi ,

I made a VR game using cardboard SDK. Everything works fine, but when i created the UI part i.e Main Menu . The UI doesn’t detect touch . I have the Touch Module on Event System .

Plz help .

I think I know what is causing this (and if I’m right, it is a bug in the SDK). Set Cardboard.SDK.VRModeEnabled to false before returning to the UI.

I know this is an old post, but in case anyone is still looking for a solution…
The simplest way I found for enabling regular touch inputs on top of the VR scene is to use a Screen Space - Overlay canvas with a regular Graphic-Raycaster and add a Standalone Input Modul to the EventSystem game object.
This way the buttons in that canvas are clickable.
Hope it helps.
