Unity & Unity Hub crash on launch

Macbook Pro Retina 11.1 mid 2014
High Sierra 10.13.6
2.4 Intel core i5
8 GB DDR 3
Intel Iris 1536
Serial: Not available (known to be an issue. Battery Coconut and Terminal command does not show serial.)

Unity 2019.3 Installed
Machine functional with no parts replaced.
Launching Unity and/or Unity Hub met with ‘Unity / Unity Hub quit unexpectedly’ pop-ups.
Any solution other than flashing my board with serial would be appreciated.

Logs & OS report

Thank you to you wonderful people.

Have had the same problem on my 2013 Macbook Air for quite some time. Lost the serial number after a hardrive swap and now can’t use unity versions later than 2019.1 nor the newer hub versions.

I assume this crash happens cause the application can’t find the serial on startup, wonder why it was suddenly changed so? Is it just a lack of a null check of sort or what causes the crash?

Could someone from the dev team please respond, have seen quite a lot of people suffering from this problem :frowning:

Would really like to migrate to 2019.3, but the inability to launch it on my laptop is really holding me back.
