Unity vacant of helping hands?

I have been working on a project with some people and have posted help wanted ads all over. The game “Survive: Online” is currently under developmet. The team is growing but I have gotten no love from the unity forums, I have had to rely on other sites for help. Now, I was like maybe i need to reword my post. But then I noticed that no one replies to anyones ads. WTF is the issue? Somebody explain to me this trend.

The trend is that there are a ton of posts on these forums and some of them simply don’t get that much attention and then sometimes people look at a post and don’t feel like posting anything. And your site you posted shows nothing about your game.

The link I posted was to our new site which is still being worked. There is a small image gallery with some screen shots, and also there is a quick overview of the game in the projects section. We will have some concept art soon also as well as a trailer.

Actually, it currently says:

Getting your site in order might up your chances of recruiting new personnel.

The word “Paid” in the subject also tends to get you more responses.

Sorry you haven’t gotten good help here. I actually find these forums to be one of Unity’s best assets as the user base is pretty active and looking over the forums, most threads get responses.

The ones without responses are usually because no one has any input to help out with or don’t completely understand the question.

To be brutally honest, almost none of the “hey guys, come work on my game for free” projects ever get very far, hence the lack of interest. The realistic solutions are probably either A) get funding so you can offer actual jobs, or B) work on a smaller project that you can finish on your own, or with a friend or two.
