its been stuck like this for days, here’s a list of everything I’ve tried
restarting pc, running with admin, changing download location, redownloading unity itself, trying to download the editor again, I’ve let it run for days to no avail.
what i think is happening is the pop up for the editor isn’t appearing for some reason
also my pc is a razer blade 14, 3060gpu. and it works on my trash pc that has an integrated gpu and cost me $200 aud.
help would be fantastic

“Stuck on validating” is a known issue. It has to do with some 3rd party tool the installer relies on. Unfortunately there are numerous reasons causing this process to get stuck. Antivirus, “unusual” download/install locations and incorrect permissions are among the common ones.
Look into the Hub logs or post it here. This may provide some clues.
You must not run the Hub and specifically not the editor as admin. If Unity isn’t working then “run as admin” is certainly not the solution. If anything it’s going to cause more issues down the road.
