I opened unity at the start of my day to show plastic/ unity VCS has decided my entire project has been added to itself and I can not undo or commit any of the changes. In the workspace explorer it shows the root directory as a deleted file in the root and many times under the assets folder. I REALLY don’t want to have to redownload and import the whole project. What can be done to fix and prevent this. Unity version 2021.3.23f1 Unity VCS version 11.0.16.8786.
Trying to click the deleted root directory clone that is under root pops up “unexpected error has occurred” the ones under assets do not produce that and act like any other file/ directory

Hi, I remember this issue (or very similar) was fixed some time ago. Can you confirm that you are using the latest version of the Unity package 2.4.4?
I can see that you are using a quite new version of the Plastic so it shouldn’t be a problem.
It seems the workspace metadata is broken. If you delete the “.plastic” folder in the root of the workspace and re-create the workspace on the same path, when you update the workspace, Plastic won’t need to re-download the project but just re-cache the project that is already on disk and it will also regenerate the workspace metadata.
