When opening Unity and being signed in through the Unity Hub, I see that suddenly my version control is not connected. When pressing Play on a game scene I would get a message that I don’t have an ‘author token’ or something like that. Closing and reopening Unity and restarting my PC would sometimes lead to extra information when reopening such as “License has been returned” or “Invalid Credentials, confirm username and password”. i am using Unity Personal.
I used UVC to upload a changeset one day ago. This changeset and all others are visible on the Unity Cloud Website under my organization. I am still able to log in and seem to have every possible normal access on the cloud website.
I read other posts and tried their solutions, such as clearing the %APPDATA% cache, activating my license again, signing out of my account and restarting PC.
I appreciate any and all help for getting access again to my version control. Unity is awesome, thank you all very much.
try checking this page, maybe there is some info there or warnings or something

Hello, thank you for the reply. I looked again and have checked there a few times. There are no specific warning messages, only these general messages: " Starting January 1, 2025, Unity Pro and Unity Enterprise prices will increase. New rates will apply to all new purchases, renewals, and upgrades.
On December 4, 2024, Unity updated its terms and associated privacy notices.
We are moving features over to the Cloud Dashboard. Please [click here] access the new Account Settings."
Hello, we will need to review the Plastic client logs. Please open a ticket at: devops-vcs-support@unity3d.com.
I am also having an issue connecting to UVC, I recently came to Singapore a few days ago for a family trip and while attempting to connect to UVC for my project, it just stays stuck on trying to connect, no matter how many times I clicked Try now or switched internet connections, it just doesn’t work (Unity 6 as well)
Could you attach the Plastic client logs at:
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\logs
Regards,
Carlos.
Thanks for the quick response! I was actually able to fix the issue by simply updating UVC to the latest version, it just never gave me any error aside from trying to reconnect until I saw that somebody’s auth was expired from another time and how they just needed to update to the latest version, so I tried it out and it worked!
