Unity version help

Hi,

I want to reinstall Unity and was going to install version 2017.1.1f1 from the main download page. Does anyone know if 2017.1.1f1 contains the patch detailed on Unity's Protection Policies For Its Creators | Unity Security ? It isn’t listed in the ‘patch versions’ so I’m finding it a bit confusing. Do I need to use the mitigation tool?

You can assume that all versions later than the ones listed there have the patch. 2017.1.1f1 comes after 2017.1.0p4 in the 2017.1 series, so it should be there.

OK, thanks for replying. BTW does the ‘f’ stand for full, and the ‘p’ for patch?

I think so? I don’t think it’s actually written down anywhere.

“f” stands for “Final” I believe… it signifies a non-patch release.
