Unity Web Player spotted on Lego.com

edit: I should add my 9 year old son proudly spotted that it was a Unity game, which he holds in high esteem.

Hmm… Wow!

That’s really awesome! JUst goes to show how fast Unity is gobbling up the web games market.

Uuf. I did not like that game at all. Mechanics are pretty difficult to use.

Good exhibit of Unity though, looked great.

Cool, though I agree its a little clunky. Made by serious games interactive? Is that the team that made global conflicts Palestine?

The models are cool. I didnt notice it was anything Unity until I rightclicked…

Woot!

AC

Interesting stuff, not the greatest game but cool none the less. Of course if you don’t know it already, Lego is Danish as are “we” (as a company) so this is a nice and cozy Danish get together!

The force is strong with that one!

Yup.

Looks like the Lego web dev folks got tired of ye olde flash player and finally decided to get serious. No doubt dev time on this game was 30% what it would be if they used flash, if not lower… Not to mention the webplayer performance.

Urgh, have you tried playing it though, got me arse kicked straight away lol

Yeah, the gameplay is not very fun… For most part, the player avatar moves too slowly and the AI doesn’t give you any opening for an attack. The Spikeball game is downright unplayable. Bots pwn my face 5 times before I even figure out what I’m supposed to do…

But that’s just my rantings. It’s probably supposed to be a strategy game rather than an action game, judging from the AI behavior.

Yea, I just tried the spike ball game and the instructions are nonsense…

I am not from that part of the world. I hope it would be one of those guys getting together, killing things, drinking beers and looking at girls in magazines that begin with the word Jug kinda get together.
