Unity Webplayer Crashes Browser on Tab Close!

So I am using Unity 4.6.1f, whenever I Build my game for Unity Webplayer, the Game Loads up in the Browser just fine! But the minute I try to Close the Browser Tab that is Running my Webplayer Game, the entire Browser Crashes to the Point where I need to Force Quit (End Task) the Chrome Browser Process!

Any Ideas how to Fix this? Also what’s even stranger is that the Browser will Not Crash if I close the Tab when the Game is Running the First Scene of the Game. If I move past my Main Menu Scene (loading second of third scene) and try to Close the Browser Tab then it Crashes!

So weird, please help! I have seen this problem since Unity 4.5

[Bump] anyone seen this issue? or am I the only one… = (

[Bump]

Can someone please direct me to where I can report this issue to Unity properly where it will get some attention?

I can’t believe no one from Unity has responded to this thread… and I find it hard to believe I’m the only one with this issue… Please assist.

Thanks

Best place would be the bug reporter. See Unity QA: Building quality with passion
When doing so please make sure to attach your entire project or a minimal repro project and the webplayer log and possibly crash files.
If your game is already live and showing the issue a link to it and a test user account would also be nice.

Thank you… can you tell me what does the turn around time look like for a response to such an issue? or any bug submitted? I imagine since I am not paying for Premium Support there might be some delay in response, but I’m curious if that look like 1, 2 Weeks maybe longer?

I can’t say an average but the sadly the spread is quite big depending on a lot of factors though. Sometimes as fast as “next patch release” and sometimes very long indeed.
