Unity website localization HUGE bug with patch releases

Hi Unity guys!

It’s nice that you are taking your time to translate your website into different languages, although we have some complaints regarding your Spanish localization.

Please take a look at this:

It’s impossible to know which version we’re downloading! Nor the patch version or the release date for it are shown here. This has been broken for months now, please fix it so we can have a proper control of your releases. It happens with the Beta versions history as well.

Also, we’d like to request a ‘Switch Language’ option. We really appreciate your efforts to localize your entire website, but the translations are amateur at best (some of them don’t even make sense at all, like posted directly from an engine such as Google Translate). We’re from Spain and we still prefer to look at the website in full English (which should give you a glimpse of how weird the translation is sometimes), so please give your users the option. Right now we are constantly getting redirected to the Spanish version and some areas like the Patch Releases section are such a mess.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for letting us know, I’ll pass this on to our web team who can look at this.

If you look at the bottom of the page at the footer, you can choose the language on the bottom left.

Thanks a lot for such a quick and nice answer

You can also change the language back to English from the footer of the page on the lower right.

Didn’t know that! Well, that is indeed a useful information, although maybe it could be placed in a more visible position

Thanks!

We’ve fixed the issue with the patch list, now you can tell what version it is!
