Just received a lot of emails regarding the Unity Beta. I wasn’t aware I was accepted. If I haven’t been accepted it may be wise to find out why I and may be others are receiving beta emails which detail all the things the beta users are up to and are working on.
If you are receiving these e-mails it means you have been accepted into the the Beta, you are now part of a google group and unfortunately all the communication that happens within this group will be e-mailed to you by default but do not fear!
You can change this!
1.) Go to groups.google.com
2.) On the left bar hit “My Groups”
3.) You should be able to see the Windows Store apps beta group there.
4.) Click that group.
5.) Once inside the group hit the “My Settings” button on the top right which I have illustrated with a red square.
6.) Got to “Membership and e-mail settings”
7.) A pop-up dialogue will appear containing a drop-down with e-mail notification options.
8.) Choose the one you like best and save.
We are going to improve this for the next beta so participants are correctly notified correctly, sorry about the inconvenience.
Well, I’m unable to join the group. It states I don’t have the correct privileges. I managed to sort out the issues I had with my email address and tried again but still not able to join!
Any ideas as to what is happening? Have I really been accepted in to the Beta?

AHA! Looks like in solving your e-mail issue, you unsubscribed from the group completely, can you PM me the e-mail address and name you signed up with and I can get you added again.
