Unity with Wine - "Service not available, please try again later"

I’m trying to use Unity with Wine in Linux.
I’ve followed few tutorials and I finally managed to install and open it but now I’m not able to login it always shows the message “Service not available, please try again later”.
I’ve tried disconnecting from the network to do the manual activation, but when I do Unity doesn’t give the this option.

Has anyone had this problem before?!

Thanks

Why would you need to do that? There is a linux editor, right? I’m not 100% sure of that though

Unity hasn’t released a Linux editor yet.

It’s hit internal testing now, so it won’t be too terribly long. Unity are very excited about this so I would recommend you just try to bear with things a little longer now, perhaps by using an older version of Unity that does not have this problem.

Ah. My bad!

I’ve just thought of that.
I’ll try an older version and post here case it works.

Thanks

It worked, but I had to try an older version of Unity and the latest version of wine and winetricks.
Now I’m trying to figure out why I can’t open Mono.

Linux editor is coming.

As for MonoDevelop, there’s Linux version of it. Just open .cs files directly with Linux MD and it should be fine.

You could try the solution given on the Unity Wiki.

We don’t support Unity with Wine, there’s a couple of solutions users on Mac and PC have run into with this screen.

Check you’re not behind a proxy.
Click the little face on the top right and see if it will let you work offline.

I found that if you create a project from the command line or terminal then you can bypass this screen and actually X out of it, but I’ve never used Linux so someone needs to step in and translate what’s going on;

Me too.
I can’t open Unity.
I can’t login.
Unity say :
Service not available, please try again later.
I use mac os x el capitan
