This is the weirdest thing. It’s always worked before, but today when I’ve tried to go to File > New Scene, nothing happens. The dialog window doesn’t come up asking where to save it or anything. I’ve tried Command+N with the same result. I feel ridiculous for asking about something so basic but I’ve checked everything and can’t find any reason this should be happening.
I’m on a MacBook Pro Retina running Unity Free 4.6.1f1. What should I do?
Thanks to all.
This is normal, if you go to File > New Scene and there is none scene saved previously (Untitled), then nothing happens. If there is a saved scene then unity should ask you to save the current scene if there is something to save, otherwise you should use File > Save Scene to save the new scene.
Got it. Thanks for your help!
Hello!!! I can’t create new scenes in my case and there’s no folder/scene inside in Assets>Project… Can someone please tell me what should I do.
Without more info, I’d just suggest saving the currently opened scene, then try creating a new scene again. You can delete the previously saved scene afterwards.
