Unity Won't Startup

Hey so I’m having an issue with a project I was working on. It’s a fairly large project (10gb+) and I was refactoring some of my code when the issue happened. It takes a fairly long time to compile and it can be quite annoying deleting files since it can causes crashes now and then. Anyway I deleted a file and a crash happened and since then it hasn’t been able to start back up.

I select the project but it just hangs on a white screen as if its trying to load. If I wait and let it do its thing it eventually crashes due to running out of memory. I’ve been having a few problems as the project has been growing in size. Maybe someone has an idea that could help me out? Any help would really be appreciated. Also I’m running the latest version. 5.3.4 I think it is.

Are you using 64 bit Editor ? Also please attach Editor.log

I’ve stumbled upon this forum because today I was unable to get the unity editor to start up.
If you have Windows 7, there is a chance you do not have SP1 (Service Pack) installed, which can cause unity to “crash” when starting up the editor. Just go to the Microsoft website and download SP1 for Windows 7, if this is the case for you.
