I use a new Asus AiO and use Windows 8 (64-bit). I have been using Unity for a while now and it seems to have run into an issue I can’t solve. It started doing a thing where when I open Unity and it asks what project I want to open, I would click on my project, it says “compiling scripts” and then all Unity windows would disappear as if it had closed. However, if you click on Unity to reopen it, it will go to the screen to ask what project you want to open. If you try to click on the same project it says an instance of that project is already open, but you can’t find it anywhere, even on the task manager. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Unity and the same thing happens. I’ve also restarted my computer and then instead of opening Unity first, I go to a saved scene and try to open that first. This seems successful because Unity opens, but it is never functional. It is frozen from the moment it starts up. Is anyone else having problems like this. I have the most current version of Unity running so I didn’t know if it was a bug with that.
Not sure why but I just uninstalled and reinstalled again, and it seems to be working! Craziness.
