Unity & WW3

hi, i’m just an old user passing by … just wanted to say hello to y’all and how you’re doing …

as you probably already know … civilization is on the brink of collapse, and unity has been in sh**show the last couple years … they’re still doing unite 2023 though …

i have lost motivation to create in unity (or any engine), especially under current world situation …

what about you? have you released your first game yet? if yes, mind sharing it? I’d love to check it out …

There are always excuses!

thank you for the encouragement … i’ve been feeling so down lately and your comment brought me a smile …

What, you got other plans for the end of the world or something?

If the world’s going to end what are you going to do about it anyway? Might as well do what you enjoy.

The ending of the movie “Don’t Look Up” sums this up perfectly.

You can’t control external events, but you can choose how you react to them.

A good place to mention… re that thing where if you can’t get online for a while you can’t use Unity anymore, so better have some other stuff to take along in your EMP-shielded bags to whichever Vault-Tec vault you have in mind until ready to emerge as the lone wanderer. If you can’t find or afford a Vault-Tec ticket, maybe +1 marshmallows, as suggested.

Edit: …marshmallows comment above was related to a post that’s been deleted :stuck_out_tongue:

World situation is not a thing worth worrying about, because it is one of the events beyond your control.

If gamedev no longer does it for you, try 3d modeling, animation, 2d art, writing books or composing music. There should be something still interesting.
