Unity3D 3.0 WORKS, the 3.2 Doesn't WHY?

Hello support,

I have been stuck on my work for a day yesterday as the 3.2 stopped working. So I decided to install again the 3.0 and everything works again.
I would suggest to go through all the changes made and identify any possible causes.

Cheers.

Do you mean a particular project or feature didn’t work or did the editor completely fail to launch or… what?

Well, with the project I was developing, suddenly the 3.2 doesn’t work anymore. I tried to re-install it again, but nothing. The Scene Window it’s just empty and objects show up only when selected. So had to go back to the 3.0 version. I saw that also other people got the same problem and posted it in the forum.

Can you file a bug and attach the complete project folder with the bug report. Then we can take a look and see what is happening.

going back to 3.0 helped you gian? I might do that until there’s a fix(btw i read mention of a conflict with ATI cards? is that what your using?)

Just want to sound off that I’m also having various troubles with 3.2 which I didn’t have in 3.1.

I’ll file a bug report through the IDE and send a zip of a project.

With a fresh project having a camera, point light, and sphere, there are bits not showing up in the scene window unless you move them into a certain [narrow] area in the world.

That, and when I build for the web, the first scene doesn’t start (posted a separate thread about this, not sure yet if it’s a bug).

One thing I haven’t tried yet is rebooting OS X into 32-bit mode and seeing if that fixes everything.

FYI

I just noticed that (at least in my case) the scene tab problem only happens when the scene tab is set to Iso. When it’s set to Persp, everything shows up fine.

Please remember to file the bug from the 3.2 install of unity, with your bugged scene open.
