Unity3d 4.6 update only the old Assets??

Is that normal that 4.6 update only the old assets that i bought ??
Because i have bought a asset on the asset store and i see ohh cool new version bamm it download only the old version ???!!
But with 5.0 it download the newest updates??!!

Entirely depends on the asset developer. Many will still be pushing updates back to 4.3. But some elect only to update the latest version.

And if course if the update includes features from 5 there is little point pushing it on 4.6 users.
