I’ve located some old posts in the matter, but nothing new or usable (for me at least).
Can someone point me into the right direction?
Cheers.

its pretty simple if you follow the qualcomm guide.
And does it work with every device? I mean does it work with android/ios and windows/mac/web?
Also, can you point me in the right direction? (a link i mean)
Thanks for the answer handsomePATT
Cheers.
says supported devices and and how to set up a project.
Thanks I’ll take a look.
One last question, i cannot find where it says the supported devices, but i think i’ll manage to found it, but does it work with windows versions of our unity games? (with a normal webcam i mean).
Cheers.
No it won’t work on desktop.
The qualcomm AR is for Android only, more precisely its restricted to Qualcomm snapdragon and newer based android devices.
The supported device list is a bit hidden on the sdk page at https://ar.qualcomm.com/qdevnet/support_file/download/supported%20devices/Supported_Devices.pdf
For desktop (windows standalone or osx standalone) you need to use a Plugin and own Unity Pro, you can’t access the webcam otherwise at all.
For webplayer its not possible at all.
Thanks for the info Dreamora.
So there is no way to do augmented reality in iOs?
I own Unity Pro, where can i find the plugin?
Thanks again.
Cheers.
For iOS you will need to use something else, like building something basing on Prime31s plugin or contacting the guys from String at http://www.poweredbystring.com to get AR in.
You don’t need iOS pro to use iOS plugins - plugins being a pro only thing is limited to the desktop - but to target iOS you need one of the two iOS addon licenses.
search string augmented reality. Its like qualcomms but for iphone
Thats the link I posted handsomePATT
oops missed that lol
Poweredbystring looks impressive, but unfortunately it is still unknown when they are about to release their SDK. Their site mentions publishing costs will be revealed this month, but that information is there for months already…
Following here to get more info when available =)
costs for String are 1000 if you leaving in there splash screen. 7000 without
but if you choose between qualcomm and string, I would pick string. I like it alot more.
This old post might help : http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/30817-UnityAR-ARToolkit-Interface?highlight=augmented+reality
And the download link on Sourceforge : UART: Unity AR Toolkit download | SourceForge.net
Hey there, the prices listed above are not quite correct regarding pricing of String, please see my comment on the thread

Hello,
I too am looking a AR-tutorial for desktop.
Does anyone have a source code example that uses the library SSTT?
This looks interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-dY-goq2xg
Note on this: http://technotecture.com/projects/sstt/unity
But the SSTT library can not be located:
Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks
