Hey guys,
I’m in the process of starting a usergroup for Unity with some friends of mine in Berlin, Germany. So far we are 4-5 people.
The usergroup should be a place to discuss and share techniques and experiences around Unity and 3D packages in a good old open source usergroup type of style.
I’m going to announce a first date with location the next days, so if you want to join, come to the facebook group.

Rats, to have had this when I was visiting.
Locate it at C-Base, that way I can kill two birds with one stone when I visit next.

thats a nice idea - a friend of mine is working there so maybe I can ask him if they have a timeslot for us.

And please keep me posted as to how this goes as I’m shaping up a formal user group program (will be working with the guys above and anyone else). Details are coming but suffice it to say we want to support such efforts as it will only strengthen the community.

@Dom: You are right. I’ll post updates on the usergroups site http://www.unityusersgroup.com/forum/ and if this usergroup happens to meet more frequently, maybe we can even put up an own site.
@Dom: The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 20 Jan. at 19:00h at the Café Bilderbuch. Next meeting might be at c-base, but I haven’t contacted my friend yet and the inhabitants of the space ship are quite busy and sometimes a bit rough to outsiders sneaking in… so I want to check it out again firsthand and make sure we don’t bump into their regular GO-evenings, pirate party meetings or Linux Usergroups, before we walk in there.
Café Bilderbuch will provide us with warm shelter, a nice atmosphere and free as in free beer internets!
We changed the meeting to thursday 21st, same time, same location, because to many people canceled wednesdays meeting.
