Unity3d.com as seen from Iran

Damn it! How the hell am I supposed to finish this nuclear bomb! :rage:

-Serious Note

I know, Unity was probably forced to make this move and embargo Iranian users from its websites due to US sanctions, but this shows, such sanctions mostly impact normal Iranian citizens.
But no worries, just one more battle to fight in the battles of a Indie Dev!

ill probably get charged with aiding and abetting for replying to this

Honestly it is ill…the only thing a nuclear bomb will get Iran is further poverty. So now Iran will have nuclear bombs pointed at them from Russia, China, Ukraine, Pakistan, India, and the US, whoop-de-do.

I guess you’ll just have to go and have a revolution…

The Ukraine doesn’t have nuclear weapons. You must mean Israel.

We stand strong!

Israel doesn’t have nuclear weapons, you must mean South Africa.

Yawn.

I have seen multiple people complain about this. No idea why it happens

Good news is that it appears the situation is getting closer to peaceful resolution.

Good luck with your game. I’m sure you’ll find some way around this.

You know, if Iran simply let another country control it, you wouldn’t have this problem. It is entirely 100% Iran’s fault.

If you could download Unity and only the documentation is your problem, start up Unity and go Help->Scripting Reference. It loads a local copy from your harddrive.

Thanks! That’s a great idea!
Hadn’t thought of it myself!

But we are used to these things, and we know how to bypass them.
The forums are also blocked though.

Doubt it, one of our government officials most likely sold it for cash and bought himself a luxury SUV and overseas holiday.

South Africa dismantled theirs before the transition to the black government. They were developed with the help of Israel. I’m sure the new gov are looking to get some.

There is a move going on by some members of the US Congress to loosen or remove sanctions against Iran. Perhaps this could solve your problem, but I wouldn’t count on it. Really the only foolproof way is to convince your government to not be so bull-headed when it comes to it’s nuclear programe.

In the interim, there’s always a proxy.

The worries about the nuclear bomb are quite serious, given the recent history of Iran. This is not a small problem that can be dismissed easily.

And don’t get me wrong. I’m sure that there’s great people in Iran. I come from an mediterranean european country, so I know about how a country can give power to corrupt psychos while the best people and the best minds must migrate.

So, if you’re a decent person and a good professional and your country is a bloody disaster, do what I did: migrate. The sooner, the better.

The “good guys” are just the same only they don’t want anyone else having an arsenal that is comparable, Its just a matter of perspective.
