in the new update
are to roll run through walls and stuff
and add more animations
I concentrate in this update
was in the smooth transitions of the camera
Yeah, good start, but you need to add things that resemble parkour, most notably no stoppage. I didn’t like that I stopped when I climbed up something.
for now there are only 2 animations
climbing time depends on the height of the wall
this will change when you increase the number of climbing animations
I’m not thinking about selling it because my programming is somewhat disorganized
what I can do is try to take the system
“V1” is less confusing
lower the weight
isolate which is not parkour
and give it to them for free so
so would have more or less an idea to create
its own system
That’s cool. Do you want some help with it? I’ve coded some parkour in other engines before, and am a big Mirror’s Edge fan(they need to make another.) PM me.
Very nice. It reminds me of Mirror’s Edge and looks just as professional. It’s amazing how adding the smooth arm animations really makes you feel like you are doing a flying leap. The quality of the animation’s important to selling the motions and is nicely done, no jerkiness.
I had difficulty making the jump from one block to another. maybe fake the distance a bit so that even if we jump a bit early we still “grab” the next edge?
I think first person views like this, that include arms and body parts, is a real evolution from just having a floating camera. Great work.
