I use FluorineFx Gateway now in some business appications…

It give RTMP for messages and Persisted Connection.

Basiclly the fluorinFx 15 has support for mono framework in its fluorinefx.dll

Can i use drop that dll in my unity3d assests folders and makes calls
like if i was using is from .net windows forms application or a silverlight application… That would be sweet… and if so… Cound i not build multiplayer games using RTMP and FluorinxFx servers?

Stand-alone, yes.

Web player, no - since there’s no direct access to networking functionality in the web runtime of mono.

This is assuming the DLL you have is pure .Net code. If the DLL is only a wrapper around a compiled native library, then you are definitely limited to stand-alone.

Fluorinex can be used to connect to Red5, FMS, WebOrb and Fluorine Servers…

Does anybody know of rtmp client already being used in Unity3D… Or should i just try to get [fluorinefx.net](http://fluorinefx.net) rtmp client working…

Does Red5 have a C# RtmpClient .dll Already?

likely not
iPhone is AOT compile and all needs to remain below the maximum framework size.
Also Unity iPhone is .net 1.1
