Hi everyone!
I just set up a website called Unity3D Works - www.unity3dworks.com
The site is a marketplace where anyone can buy and sell assets for video games based on the engine Unity3D.

Our benefits include:

  • 80% of profits to the authors.
  • Non-exclusive!
  • Great prices and quality products.

We invite everyone to know our new market
Very thanks for your time.

I’d suggest allowing Internet Explorer uses, access to your website if your hoping for this website to be a success.

It is an interesting suggestion my friend. Thanks.

What type of assets are you looking to have submitted?

I was looking around and mistakenly clicked on Register, and the site created an account with a blank username, a blank password and a blank email address. I thought it was just a minor message bug and that no registration actually took place. Still, out of curiosity, I clicked on Login using a blank username and a blank password, and it worked. So now, there’s an account with a blank username, password and email address registered on the site. After I logged out, I clicked on Register with all fields set to blank again, and the site won’t let me register anymore since the username already exists in the database, which means that the first time wasn’t a fluke. So apparently, I’ve uncovered a massive bug.

Using the blank username account, I browsed a bit more. I clicked on Sell a new work and was taken to a page where the asset package could be named and given a description. But, just to test things, I left all the fields blank and clicked on Continue. Lo and behold, without even giving a name, category or description of anything, I was allowed once more to proceed to the next step. After that, I felt like any more browsing was just a waste of time. Clearly, no effort has been made on the database protocols.

Before I logged out though, I tried to find where the option was to withdraw any earnings from assets sold. I was not surprised anymore when I couldn’t find it. Maybe the withdrawal link would only be available once one has sold an asset, maybe not. At this point, I don’t really care anymore. The lack of effort afforded the database leads me to believe that security on the site is prolly nonexistent anyway.

That site is not ready for a public unveiling, let alone start conducting business.

Any type.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your words. I will work to improve the site considerably.
Please, just out of curiosity, could you tell which browser you used?

At least you’re forthcoming. I prefer that over people who get defensive when their work gets criticized. I used Firefox. Best of luck to you.

Hello everyone,

We have made significant improvements to our site Unity3DWorks.com
We hope that now the user experience is satisfactory.
Please, we invite you to visit us again.
