UnityEngine.UI Library does not exist

I am making a menu for my game and need to use the UnityEngine.UI library. I am getting the error
CS0234: The type or namespace name ‘UI’ does not exist in namespace ‘UnityEngine’. I have tried reinstalling and installing the Unity UI package multiple times. After reinstalling, the error gets resolved and then comes back after 5 seconds. I am using Unity version 2020.1.12f1. Please help.

Sorry to see you are having this problem. I found other forum thread where this problem is discussed. I’m not sure your issue is on Package Manager.
