Today I have reached a great milestone for my UnityFS sales. To acknowledge this I would like to say a massive thankyou to this community, to all those that have purchased the package and to all those that have offered positive feedback and suggestions on what features to add next. You guys are awesome!!
I have been blown away by the support, positive comments and suggestions and super excited to see what everyone has been doing with this toolkit.
There are some great features in the works including partnering up with Fred who I have no doubt is going to bring unmatched helicopter realism to Unity. But, in the mean time here’s a little something for you all…
I AM GIVING YOU THE CHANCE TO WIN 1 FREE COPY OF UNITY FS
To enter all you need to do is reply to this thread. All replies must be in before Midnight Sunday (GMT) I will then pick the winner Monday lunchtime (GMT) at Random.
OPTIONAL - To make things more interesting please also include the most fun/craziest aircraft or contraption that you would most like to build and crash/fly with UnityFS
UnityFS works with Unity 3.5.1 upwards, free or pro and supports all platforms.
But then I thought I’d need a lot of pilots. But I have a personal fascination with biplanes, I just like the slower pace of flight and how well they fly, so at a future point in time I might pick up your asset in order to make barely-able to fly things for open world games. Stuff like kites with chickens or something. You know.
Congrats on the milestone you have reached.
I don’t have time to continue working on UniFDM within the next years, I give up on ever releasing it to the public.
Would say this thing is most interesting, will it fly without the ground effect?
Some of these I haven’t even seen before - I particularly like the XF85 Goblin!!
There seems to be a bit of a theme with the crazy ducted fan type aircraft. I am quite tempted to try and create some of these in UnityFS myself and see how well they fly - perhaps I can make a few crazy webplayer demos Thunderbird 2 is genius suggestion and the Mig29 is one of my most favorite looking aircraft ever!
I look forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with Some of those don’t look like they should even leave the ground!!
Dolkar - The main focus for me is the pack itself but having worked closely with Nathaniel on the terrain demo + more we do have a few more little projects up our sleeves
That thing is huge! Would be an interesting test for the flight model/ground effect to see just how high you could get it to fly - may have to try this one
