UnityHub Appimage is back?

Since I am on an unsupported distro I had been using the old Appimage version for a while. (It was functioning just fine). Today in the midle of workday after restarting UnityHub after slower than usual start I was surprised to see UnityHub 3.4.1.

It seems to be more or less working. Had to manually pass the “unity://” url on the commandline for login process to succeed, but that’s not surprising. Haven’t tried installing a new Unity version or reactivating the license yet, since old installs and activation didn’t break during the update process.

Does this mean that UnityHub Appimage is back, at least unofficially? The download page doesn’t list it so I am not sure if there is a way to obtain it unless you already had the old Appimage.

Please bring AppImage back.

My old appimage updated as well. Totally impossible to log-in into it for me, though.

Worse yet, it doesnt let me to downgrade back.
I mean, a had another copy of oldv2 appimage on another PC. So i erased v3 and put back v2. Plus cleaned any configs.
But nope, its tries to immediately upgrade to v3 again. :rage:

Guess i’ll have to directly launch my unity project via pre-made .sh file now.

@nrader95 Did you tried to pass the unityhub link to Appimage manually during the login process? Shouldn’t be a problem if you understand how it works. This post https://discussions.unity.com/t/858608 describes a couple fo ways it can be done.

@karliss_coldwild The problem is that i usually cant even enter my creds most of the time. It just throws request time-out into my face. The one time a was able to, i did try to launch v3 appimage with unityhub link as argument, but it didnt work for me that time.
