Are they worth it? I am sure you guys know all about them.
Not to be a dick, but if you have to ask, the answer is probably yes.
I haven’t looked at it, outside of the webplayer demo, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything you couldn’t do yourself by doing a bit of searching on these forums.
That said, a lot of it depends on your time. My time is worth a lot more than $55/hr, so if I had to start from scratch and had no knowledge, but wanted to whip together a 2.5D game, I might do it… maybe…

I guess I’ll try to make my own version of it. If all else fails, $50 isn’t that much to cough up, especially around Christmas time
