Unity's uGUI Has Issues Rendering When Camera Uses Deferred Rendering

As the title says Unity’s uGUI seems to be having rendering issues when in Deferred rendering mode. Is this a known issue? Should UI cameras always be in Forward Rendering?

As a further note, I’m using the Alloy plugin’s Deferred shader as the default deferred. I’m not sure if that may be causing issues.

I’m using the latest patch release for Unity 5. Patch 5.1.2p3

Is this on your build too? If it’s not an issue on your build, I’d just submit a bug report and wait for some feedback, or someone else on this thread.

I haven’t tried a build yet, I’ll get back to you with the results.

The screenshot is unfortunately just a black screen because the UI covers the whole camera.

In what way? :smile: And the UI issues… is it just wrong depth sorting or game-breaking glitches? :wink:
