Universal GameDev Challenge eligibility

Reading the terms of the “Universal GameDev Challenge” I found out that people and teams resident in Italy are not eligible to take part at the challange. Is there any specific reason?

Universal GameDev Challenge - Country of residence discrimination

Hello fellow devs. I just noticed that, among the other rules, the challenge prevents Italian residents to participate in the Universal GameDev Challenge. While I understand why some of those countries could be kept out of the challenge for bureaucratic reasons, I do not see any reason why Italian residents have been excluded from the contest. Italy is part of the European Union, and being the only European country included in that list, I feel discriminated just because of my residence. Bef…
