I am producing Unlived War, a FPS Horror Action Future Pos-Apocalipse Game. We are really at the beginning, and have the basic game history and the First Scene Alpha Ready.
Just a update. We reach more than 200 play in 24 hours. That is good. But I need your feed back. Please, play and honestly give me feedback about what you like or not in the game, and player suggestions.
After work hard on optimization we launch Alpha 1.2, much faster to download.
The optimization process in Unity is hard and manual. You must look at the Editor Console, and check file by file, what are the biggest one. Basically we optimized Sound (increasing the compression), Textures (going down to a maximum of 256), and Animation (enabling animation compression). I will still work in a new scene architecture in order to improve streaming.
I really like what I have played. The movement of the character is nice and smooth, and the atmosphere is good.
But sometimes I aimed at the head and it didn’t hit,maybe you should increase the hitbox or whatever the zombies have on them?
In my opinion it’s too hard to hit the zombies on the head, and if 2 or 3 of the enemies attack you it gets nearly impossible to kill them
Good work. It’s fun and creepy to not know what’s around a corner! When I was in the first room, the door opened, a zombie came in and then proceeded to walk through the wall and leave the room (he walked under the camera). Just a small bug I noticed. Keep it up…I recognize those zombies too, you made them move nicely
I just implemented a better head for the unlived, to allow a precise and easier head shoot. Maybe In future releases I will create diferent levels of dificult based on that. Any way, now it is easier (feasible) to kill zombies.
I am happy to announce that we finish the Unlived War - Episode 1: Graduation Day, and that will be first publishing at Wooglie.com, and realizing for Windows and Mac Download.
