Unreachable scene Object

Hi everyone,

I have 3D space scene, and my idea is to create a big planet object as part of scene, so player or NPC are unable to reach it or interact it, moreover, planet should have animations like clouds and so on. Problem is that I do not want to make planet as real huge object and place it too far from main scene and do not want to make borders of scene. So, it is, may be, stupid question but is it possible to make it unreachable?

Put the planet on a separate layer that’s not visible by the main camera. Then use a second camera underneath the main camera, which can only see the planet layer. The main camera should have the clear flags set to depth only, so the second camera shows through in the background. The second camera should be scripted to rotate the same as the main camera, but not move.
