Unspecified error during import of AudioClip Assets

Hi, I’ve upgraded my Unity version from 5.0.3 to 5.1.1, everything seems to work fine. However, Unity suddenly became unable to load any audio files and it gave me “Unspecified error during import of AudioClip Assets” “UnityEditor.DockArea:OnGUI()” errors when I tried to import audio, is there anyway to solve it? I’m using Windows XP SP3

I have found the problem, it seems that Unity doesn’t like it when the ‘modified’ date of the file is in the future.

To solve you just need to ‘touch’ the file to reset the modified date:

COPY /B filename.ext +,, filename.ext

Where ‘filename.ext’ is the name of the file and it’s extension.

I have the same problem with a bunch of OGG files egenrated from oggdropXPd

I had the same problem, in my case I managed to solve it by removing “Library” folder in my project dir.
