See if I could just afford Unity Pro I could finish my Avator and make it look better. They should take pitty on me and put it on sale. Zbrush, that I just learned, gave me a huge near 50% discount last year and after starring at like what I do I do with this for 4 months it started working for me and I made the mutton Chap Avatar. Unity should do this. I know it is was God would want them to do:lol:

I completely agree. I would love to see a 50% discount at some point during the year.
However, even $750 would be a huge commitment for me. That being said, you know what I wish they allowed you to do? I wish you could “rent to own” so-to-speak. Where they have you can use Unity pro for $75 a month right now. But then after you pay $75 a month up to $1500, you own it, and you no longer have to pay anything. Anyone else think this would be a good idea, and easily doable by Unity??

They should just give it away for free.
Find someone who’ll give you a $1500 personal loan that you can repay $75 a month. Unity aren’t a credit agency.
Well you can sign up for Unity pro for $75.00 a month, so I guess they kinda are :)…
Yeah, but the request was to pay the $75 a month and still own it at the end. One is financing, the other is SAAS.
My idea is maybe they can release an older version of Unity Pro… e.g. 3.5.7, for some kind of reduced price. Unity 4x has received a fair number of new features etc, that the 3.5.7 version could be sold for maybe $500 less or something?
That doesn’t really make sense. Selling a older version would mean they would have to support it long past it’s shelf life. Besides free 4.0 has more features than pro 3.x (minus the pro features). It would just muddle and confuse things. Their license model now is very clean and simple.
